Job summary

Widebed, a growing property management company in Kuala Lumpur, invites students to join its Internship Program to gain real-world experience across Digital Marketing, IT, and Accounts/Finance. You'll work on meaningful projects and learn from industry professionals in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with SEO, content creation, WordPress updates, Canva/Adobe design, social media scheduling, and basic admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Internship duration of at least 3 months.
• Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with access via LRT/MRT Ampang Park.

Responsibilities

• Assist digital marketing tasks across channels (SEO, content, social media).
• Create and edit content, graphics, and website updates (WordPress).
• Support IT, cloud hosting, and automation projects (Zapier & APIs).
• Assist Accounts/Finance tasks and basic admin duties.
• Help with property listings, client communications, and sales follow-up.

Whether you’re pursuing a career in Digital Marketing, Sales & Marketing, Information Technology (IT), or Accounts / Finance — this is your chance to work on meaningful projects, sharpen your skills, and gain valuable exposure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Available Internship Areas

Research and identify effective marketing channels, including SEO and keyword strategies, to enhance digital presence and reach target audiences.

Plan, create, and manage engaging content across digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), including graphics, videos, copywriting, and social media calendars.

Design digital assets using Canva/Adobe tools, host live sessions to promote products/services, and assist in virtual or physical marketing events as needed.

Assist in identifying potential property owners and support onboarding activities, including presentations, proposals, and basic owner relationship management.

Support marketing (online & offline), help manage property listings, assist in guest/tenant inquiries, and participate in sales follow-up activities.

Help with partnership coordination, proposal preparation, simple presentations, and reporting tasks related to sales performance and market trends.

Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s WordPress-based websites, including content updates, basic troubleshooting, and improving website functionality and user experience.

Support the IT team in managing cloud hosting environments and Virtual Private Servers (VPS), including monitoring server performance, assisting with backups, and managing basic DNS settings.

Assist in automation and system integration tasks, such as connecting APIs between booking platforms, payment gateways, and internal systems using automation tools (e.g., Zapier or similar platforms).

Help monitor website performance, analytics, and system operations to ensure smooth digital platform functionality.

Provide basic technical support for internal teams and assist in resolving minor hardware or software issues.

Support technical content creation for marketing initiatives, such as assisting with property photography, video recording, or 360° virtual tour setups when required.

Accounts / Finance

Assist with daily accounting operations such as data entry, invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.

Support financial record keeping, documentation, and preparation of simple financial reports for management review.

Assist the finance team with proper filing of financial documents and other ad hoc accounting or administrative tasks.

Assist with tenant enquiries and daily administrative tasks.

Support tenant check-ins and check-outs.

Prepare and organize tenancy documents and records.

Update tenant, landlord, and property information.

Assist in monitoring rental payments and utility bills.

Coordinate maintenance requests with contractors.

Liaise with Management Offices (MO) and service providers when required.

Assist in preparing simple reports and filing documents.

Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or Management.

Who We’re Looking For

Students currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Energetic, responsible, and eager to learn.

Able to commit to a minimum of 3 months internship.

Location: Kuala Lumpur (Conveniently accessible via LRT/MRT Ampang Park)
Internship Duration: 3 – 6 months (flexible based on academic schedule)
