Job summary

Hartalega Holdings Berhad is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen the Group's governance, risk management and internal controls. You will plan and execute audits, review working papers, lead investigations from whistleblowing reports, and collaborate with management to close control gaps.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of 5 years in auditing, strong communication and leadership skills, and a proven ability to analyze processes and implement improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a professional accounting qualification (CIA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute annual internal audit plan to provide reasonable assurance and strengthen governance and risk management.
• Assess adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and business processes; identify gaps and propose improvements.
• Plan, manage and execute audits; review and finalize working papers and findings.
• Lead investigations arising from whistleblower reports and ensure proper documentation and action.
