Job summary

Eco Asia Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Internal Audit – Consultant/Senior Consultant to perform internal audit and risk management engagements for public listed companies, and to review internal controls, governance, ESG and sustainability ahead of Bursa Malaysia listings.

You will prepare audit working papers, communicate findings to Management, build client relationships, and assist on ad-hoc assignments; a degree in Business/Commerce/Economics/Accounting/Finance is required,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/ Commerce/ Economics/ Accounting/ Finance or related fields.

Responsibilities

Internal Audit – Consultant/ Senior Consultant

Perform internal control, risk management, corporate governance, ESG and sustainability reviews for companies preparing for listing on Bursa Malaysia.

Prepare audit working papers and reports, and communicate findings to Management.

Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.

Assist in any other ad-hoc assignments.

About you

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Commerce/ Economics/ Accounting/ Finance or related fields.

IIA, CIA or ACCA certification or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

Possess knowledge of Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Guides, Malaysian Code of Corporate Governance, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework is preferred

2 to 5 years of relevant working experience is preferred

Fluent in both writing and speaking English (Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia or other languages would be an added advantage)

Strong communication, analytical and critical thinking skills are preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office application

Willing to travel as and when required
