Job summary

Evonik Malaysia invites you to join a 6-month internship in Cognitive Solutions focused on data visualization and analytics using Power BI and Azure Databricks. You will gain practical experience on a small project that benefits the V&A team and learn from experienced colleagues.

Preferred candidates are studying business analytics, data analytics, data science, or statistics, with strong English communication and a passion for digitalization and agile work practices.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidates coming from studies around business analytics, data analytics, data science, statistics, or other related areas.
• Good skills in written and spoken English.
• Strong affinity in digitalization & agile working.
• Knowledge about one or more of the following tools would be an advantage: Data Analysis and Visualization (Power BI / Tableau / Google data studio, etc.), Use of Programming Languages (e.g. SQL, Python, DAX), Cloud Computing in Azure, AWS or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Get to know Cognitive Solutions and its responsibilities within an internship of 6 months.
• Get to know Power BI and Azure Databricks functionalities with regard to data visualization and analytics.
• Responsible to work on a small project within the duration of the intership that brings a benefit to V&A.
• Support and provide input to the team in ongoing use case developments for learning.
• Bring in knowledge and experience from latest developments in the data visualization and analytics areas.
