Job summary

Eco World Development Group Berhad is offering a Procurement Intern position to gain practical exposure to purchasing documentation, supplier coordination, delivery monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration. During this 3-month internship, you will learn procurement fundamentals and gradually take ownership of tasks with guidance from your supervisor and mentor.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
• Possess good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
• Able to work independently on routine tasks while seeking guidance when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Procurement Documents: Assist in preparing quotations, POs, GRNs, and other procurement documents.
• Coordinate Sample Submissions: Liaise with suppliers to arrange and follow up on product sample submissions.
• Monitor Deliveries: Coordinate with suppliers to track delivery schedules and status for timely fulfilment.
• Support Document Submission: Liaise with Finance to facilitate submission of procurement-related documents.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Work with Sales & Marketing, Finance, and suppliers to support smooth procurement operations.

Throughout this 3-month internship, you will learn the fundamentals of procurement and gradually take ownership of assigned tasks, with guidance and support from your supervisor and mentor.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Procurement Documents: Assist in preparing quotations, Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and other related procurement documents.

Coordinate Sample Submissions: Liaise with suppliers to arrange and follow up on product sample submissions.

Monitor Deliveries: Coordinate with suppliers to track delivery schedules, monitor delivery status, and ensure timely fulfilment.

Support Document Submission: Liaise with the Finance Department to facilitate the submission of procurement-related documents for processing.

Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team, Finance Department, and suppliers to support smooth procurement operations.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
