Job summary

Generali Malaysia is offering an internship in pricing analytics reporting under the VP, Motor & Retail Pricing. You will assist daily pricing and data analytics across lines of business beyond Motor and Retail LoBs.

You will gain exposure to system configuration, UAT for pricing changes, and learn about insurance products while developing Excel, VBA, R and Python skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

This internship position reports directly to VP, Motor & Retail Pricing and will be involved in the daily pricing and data analytics related to various lines of business beyond Motor and Retail LoBs. This position will also assist in system configuration and UAT related to pricing changes.

Main Responsibility

Portfolio analysis and report

• Pick up excel and other coding skills (e.g. VBA, R and Python) through on-the-job training.
• Assist to enhance, automate and refine data extraction process and report generation.

System configuration and testing

• Assist in pricing configuration in the system
• Assist in conducting UAT
• Learn about the company’s insurance product and portfolio
• Understand and analyze industry statistics
• Assist in the pricing work for different line of business

Qualification and Experience Requirement

• Preferably a Degree in quantitative discipline such as Actuarial, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Insurance, Risk Management etc.
• Strong analyticaland problem-solving ability
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
