Job summary

Prudential Services Asia invites a Bachelor’s degree student to join the Industrial Relations & HR Governance team in Kuala Lumpur for a full-time internship. You will assist in documenting IR matters, governance research, and policy support, while coordinating confidential information and administrative tasks.

Ideal candidates study Law, HR, Industrial Relations or Psychology, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, HR Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related disciplines.
• Interest in MY employment law, employee relations, HR governance, compliance and workplace investigation processes.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, good Microsoft Office skills, high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support documentation and administration for IR matters, including preparing draft notes, arranging case files, maintaining trackers, and organizing supporting documents for disciplinary, grievance and employee relations matters.
• Assist in employment and HR governance research, including reviewing relevant employment laws, internal policies/SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and industry practices to support case assessment and policy review.
• Support HR governance activities, including policy documentation, checklist preparation, compliance tracking, and administrative follow-up on governance-related action items.
• Coordinate basic administrative support, including scheduling discussions, compiling information, maintaining shared folders, and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive employee-related information.
