Job summary

HOUSE OF APPLELICIOUS in Tebrau, Johor, Malaysia, seeks a boutique assistant to help customers with size, design and styling, and to learn about abaya and mukawar designs, fabrics, colours and trends. You will arrange displays, check stock, and prepare new arrivals for display.

You will also create simple photos/videos for TikTok, assist with Live sessions, pack online orders, respond to WhatsApp/TikTok enquiries, and help maintain a clean, visually appealing boutique.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with size, design and styling recommendations.
• Learn about abaya and mukawar designs, fabrics, colours and fashion trends.
• Assist in arranging and merchandising clothing displays in the boutique.
• Check stock levels and update sold-out or low-stock items.
• Assist with preparing new arrivals, including steaming, tagging and arranging items for display.
• Inspect garments for quality issues such as defects, tears, missing beads or stones.
• Assist in creating simple photos and videos for TikTok and social media content.
• Assist with TikTok Live sessions and product presentation when required.
• Support online order packing and ensure garments are properly prepared before delivery.
• Respond to basic customer enquiries through WhatsApp and TikTok.
• Observe customer preferences and provide feedback on popular designs, colours and styles.
• Assist the owner with event and booth preparation when required.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and visual presentation of the boutique.
