Principal Malaysia is seeking a creative and driven Intern to join our Digital Marketing and Sales team. You will assist in executing marketing campaigns, analyzing performance data, and supporting day-to-day digital marketing activities.

The role focuses on social media, content creation, and basic SEO/Google Ads knowledge, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related fields.
• Strong copywriting skills with ability to create engaging social media content.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Basic understanding of SEO, Google Ads, or email marketing is a plus.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Assist in developing digital marketing strategies including SEM, social media content planning, and paid ad research.
• Coordinate administrative tasks including raising purchase orders and assisting with payment processing.

What You’ll Do

• Support acquisition efforts through paid media by assisting in campaign tracking, data collection, and performance reporting.
• Assist in the development of digital marketing strategies by contributing to SEM, social media content planning, and paid ad research.
• Coordinate administrative tasks including raising purchase orders and assisting with payment processing.

Who You Are

• You are currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skill.
• Must have strong copywriting skills with proven experience in creating engaging social media content and post.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
• Basic understanding of SEO, Google Ads, or email marketing is a plus
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge or experience with relevant tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools and Google Analytics would be an added advantage.
• Able to complete 6 months internship.
