Job summary

Brenntag Group in Malaysia is seeking an O2C Operations intern to assist in daily transaction processing, reconciliation, and reporting within a supportive team environment. The role offers exposure to cash applications, collections, or credit control, with potential variation during the internship period according to business needs.

The ideal candidate is pursuing an undergraduate degree in commerce, finance, or accounting, proficient in MS Office, and possesses strong English communication

• Undergraduate pursuing Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

• Assist in daily transaction processing and reconciliation activities under supervision.
• Support preparation of reports and basic analysis related to O2C operations.
• Assist in follow up activities for outstanding transactions and documentation.
• Maintain proper documentation in line with internal control requirements and support audit activities where required.
• Support month end closing activities in cooperation with cross functional teams within SSC.
• Adhere to agreed service levels, company policies and procedures.
• Escalate issues or discrepancies to the supervisor where necessary.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Your Role

Support Order to Cash (O2C) operations by providing operational assistance to assigned sub-functions (Cash Applications, Collections, or Credit Control). Assignment may vary during the internship period in accordance with business requirements.

• Support preparation of reports and basic analysis related to O2C operations
• Assist in follow up activities for outstanding transactions and documentations
• Maintain proper documentation in line with internal control requirements and support audit activities where required
