Job summary

A leading distributor of automotive parts in Malaysia is seeking a responsible Accounting Intern to join their finance team. This hands-on role is targeted at students or fresh graduates eager to gain practical experience in a fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities include assisting in daily sales reports, handling customer invoices, and supporting banking inquiries. Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related fields, possess basic accounting knowledge, and have strong interpersonal skills. Immediate availability and a valid driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting software (SQL, Green Plus) is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing daily sales reports, credit notes, and debit notes.
• Support the team in responding to bank-related inquiries.
• Help issue accurate invoices to customers upon request.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
• Ensure records and documentation are organized and error-free.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the Head of Accountants or Director.
