Job summary

V&D Construction Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage costs on interior design, fit-out and renovation projects.

You will prepare BOQ, cost estimates and tender submissions, while negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure cost-effective outcomes. The role requires 5–8 years of QS experience in interiors, a Diploma or Degree in QS/Construction, and strong numerical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of proven Quantity Surveying experience in interior design, fit-out or renovation sectors.
• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building/Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of local market rates, interior construction materials and carpentry works.
• Communicate in English and Malay; Mandarin is a priority for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Comfortable using digital tools for project management and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQ, cost estimates, and tender submissions for interior design, carpentry and renovation projects.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for interior materials.
• Administer contracts: evaluate progress claims, manage VO's, finalize accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Conduct periodic site valuations and measurements to keep costs within budget.
• Collaborate with project management and design teams to provide cost-effective solutions and value engineering.
