Job summary

Amethyst Partners is seeking an experienced Product Developer / Owner to lead digital product initiatives in a global InsurTech setting in Kuala Lumpur. The role requires strong product management experience and deep knowledge of the insurance lifecycle to transform products with AI-driven technologies.

You will collaborate across business, technology, and design teams to deliver end-to-end product capabilities, with a focus on policy administration systems and configurable product platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Product Owner/Development roles with end-to-end delivery.
• Experience in digital product management in General Insurance.
• Experience with Policy Administration Systems or configuration platforms.
• Understanding of insurance product lifecycle from setup to renewals.
• Collaborates across business, tech, design and stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Product Developer / Owner to join a global market-leading InsurTech organisation in their Kuala Lumpur office.

We're looking for a product professional who combines strong digital product management experience with a solid understanding of the insurance lifecycle and a passion for leveraging technology and AI to transform insurance products.

We're looking for someone with:

• 6+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Development or similar role, delivering end-to-end product capabilities, preferably within General Insurance.
• Significant experience in digital product management, including Policy Administration Systems or product configuration platforms
• Strong understanding of the insurance product lifecycle, including product setup, pricing, underwriting, policy servicing and renewals
• Experience working across business, technology, design and other stakeholder groups to deliver customer-focused products
• A strong interest in AI-enabled product development and digital transformation
