Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a fresh graduate with a Diploma to join our insurance team in Ipoh. You will assist senior underwriters and claims adjusters with policy processing, data entry, and file management.

You will support the sales team by preparing policy quotes and client presentations, communicate with clients and internal stakeholders, and learn underwriting guidelines while contributing to a collaborative, customer-focused service culture.

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma qualification; ideal entry-level opportunity for fresh graduates.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing positively to group dynamics and shared goals.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior underwriters and claims adjusters with policy processing, data entry, and file management to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the sales team by preparing policy quotes, proposals, and client presentation materials.
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information, answer basic inquiries, and provide policy status updates.
• Conduct preliminary research on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to support strategic decision-making.
• Learn and apply company underwriting guidelines and claims procedures to assist in evaluating risks and processing claims.
• Collaborate with team members on various projects and tasks, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with company policies and data privacy regulations.
