Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to ensure the reliability, accuracy and integrity of instrumentation, control systems and automation equipment across our rubber thread production facilities. You will maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate and improve sensors, analyzers, PLC/SCADA systems and process-monitoring devices throughout compounding, extrusion, drying and curing areas.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, preferably in latex, rubber, polymer or chemical

Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably latex, rubber, polymer or chemical processing.
Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
Knowledge of instrumentation maintenance and control systems.
Ability to troubleshoot, calibrate, and optimize sensors and process equipment.

Responsibilities

Instrumentation Maintenance & Troubleshooting: inspect, calibrate, tune and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation devices.
Control Systems & Automation: support PLC, HMI and SCADA troubleshooting, modifications and improvements.
Process Stability & Quality Assurance: monitor production parameters and ensure data accuracy for QC testing.
Project Implementation & Continuous Improvement: upgrade instrumentation, assist in new equipment commissioning, and drive energy-use optimizations.
Documentation & Compliance: maintain calibration records, drawings, and PM schedules; ensure safety and OEM compliance.
