GuestServ (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled installation technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and service hotel equipment at client sites. You will read manuals, perform testing, and ensure safety and quality during deployments.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical engineering with 1–2 years of experience, or fresh graduates willing to learn. You will travel to sites and coordinate with customers.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in lockset installation, door hardware, maintenance, electrical work; fresh graduates welcome.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, drilling and measuring.
• Read installation manuals, wiring diagrams; reading is advantageous.
• Ability to travel to customer sites; customer-serving mindset.
• Valid driving licence and able to work independently or in a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hotel equipment (electronic locks, safes, minibars).
• Carry out door preparation, drilling, cutting, fitting per specs.
• Ensure installations are aligned, fitted, and functional.
• Test and commission upon completion of installation.
• Perform on-site installation and servicing at hotels and premises.
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
• Test equipment and ensure proper operation after installation.
• Provide technical support and basic troubleshooting to customers.

· Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hotel equipment, including electronic door locks, safes, minibars, and other related products.

· Carry out door preparation, drilling, cutting, and fitting in accordance with installation specifications.

· Ensure all installations are properly aligned, securely fitted, and functioning correctly.

· Conduct testing and commissioning upon completion of installation.

· Conduct on-site installation and servicing at hotels, resorts, and other customer premises.

· Diagnose technical issues and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.

· Perform product testing and ensure all equipment is functioning properly after installation.

· Provide technical support and guidance to customers on product operation and basic troubleshooting.

· Coordinate with the office and customers to arrange installation schedules and service appointments.

· Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records of installation and repair work.

· Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.

· Maintain tools, drilling equipment, and testing instruments in good working condition.

· Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of company equipment and spare parts.

· Travel to customer sites as required.

· Perform other technical duties as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

· Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field will be an advantage.

· Preferably 1–2 years of experience in lockset installation, door hardware, maintenance, electrical work, or a related technical field. Fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

· Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, drilling, measuring, and fitting work.

· Basic understanding of mechanical and electronic components.

· Ability to read and follow installation manuals, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams will be an advantage.

· Previous experience in technical installation, maintenance, or servicing is an added advantage.

· Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.

· Able to use basic hand tools and electrical testing equipment.

· Willing to travel to customer sites and work at different locations.

· Possess a valid driving licence.

· Able to work independently and as part of a team.
