Job summary

The International School of Kuala Lumpur seeks a Middle School Robotics & Creative Technologies teacher to build a program blending coding, robotics, 3D design, digital media, and engineering challenges. The role inspires curious innovators and problem-solvers through hands-on experiences.

You will guide learners in developing critical thinking, collaboration, and iterative learning, preparing them for a digital world while emphasizing ethical tech use and creativity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (in education preferred).
Relevant teaching certification.
Minimum of recognised 3 years teaching experience.
Experience working with middle school students grades 6-8.

Responsibilities

Developing engaging curriculum and lesson plans aligned with ISKL goals, using a range of instructional technologies.
Deliver lessons, provide feedback on assignments, and support students’ learning journeys.
Assess student progress and provide individualized support to help learners meet goals.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends to keep curriculum relevant and effective.
Promote responsible and ethical technology use, including AI, online safety and cybersecurity.
Lead and participate in school activities and after-school programs as required.
