HELP International School in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Coding, Robotics & Technology teacher for Year 4–6 to nurture young minds in design, coding and robotics. The appointee may be an experienced teacher with a strong interest in technology or a computer science/engineering professional transitioning into teaching.
Candidates without teaching experience will receive on-the-job training and support. Start: January 2027 – August 2027, with flexibility.

About the role
We seek to appoint a person with strong technology skills to work with our Year 4–6 classes (8-year-olds to 11-year-olds). The appointee will either be an experienced teacher with a strong interest in technology, including a basic understanding of coding, robotics and artificial intelligence, or a person with a computer science or engineering background interested in a change of career to join the teaching profession.
Candidates without teaching experience will be provided with on the job training and support.
Start: January 2027 - August 2027 (or sooner if the candidate is able to start earlier)
Key responsibilities:
Work with Year 4–6 classes in technology and design education
Teach basic computer coding skills, including block chain and python coding
Lead LEGO Mindstorms and robotics activities
Support robotics and e-sports competitions
Candidates Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in computer science or engineering background
Basic computer coding skills – block chain and python coding skills essential
A working knowledge of basic python coding and confidence in working with robotics essential
A strong interest in LEGO Mindstorms, robotics competitions, e-sports competitions
An outgoing, well organised person with sound communication skills
(Either an experienced teacher with a strong interest in technology, or a person with a computer science
or engineering background interested in teaching)
