Job summary

Jurutera Jasa (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd invites an experienced Inspector of Works to oversee bridge construction in Malaysia. You will inspect, monitor and ensure work complies with drawings and specifications, and record daily activities and non-conformances.

You will coordinate with contractors, assist Resident Engineer in inspections and reporting, and ensure safety and traffic management on site. Diploma in Civil Engineering and BEM registration are required, with 7–12 years of supervision

Qualifications

• Diploma holder in Civil Engineering from recognized university.
• Registered with BEM as Inspector-of-Works.
• 7 to 12 years site experience in supervision of bridges works.
• Familiar with construction drawings and specifications.
• Able to monitor site quality, workmanship and safety compliance.
• Good communication and coordination skills with contractors and consultants.
• Proficient in preparing site reports, inspection records, and daily site diaries.
• Possess valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor bridge construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawing and specifications.
