Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a site supervisor to manage on-site construction activities, ensuring works comply with contract terms and statutory requirements. You will keep detailed records, report progress weekly, attend site and progress meetings, and liaise with contractors, local authorities and HQ.

Available to join immediately; you will monitor materials, issue amended construction details, and supervise workmanship while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising on-site construction activities and enforcing contract compliance.
• Ability to maintain detailed site records and reporting cadence to HQ.
• Proven skills in coordinating with contractors, authorities, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on instructions and commitments to the project.
• Ensure works are as per contract and statutory requirements.
• Maintain on-site detailed records and weekly progress reports to HQ.
• Liaise with all involved parties and local authorities to facilitate construction activities.

- Ensure the works are as per contract.
- Keep the detailed record on site, and report to the S.O. on the progress report weekly.
- Ensure the working procedure to comply with the relevant statutory requirement, agreed method and recommend modification to the process with HQ
- Attend site meetings, progress meetings
- Liaise with all involved parties and local authorities to facilitate the construction activities.
- Supervise, investigate, inspect and check the materials that to be used to by the contractor for construction works.
- Prepare and issue amended construction details and issue out engineer’s instruction if required.
- Keep monitoring site condition
