Job summary

Malton Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Inspector of Work (Mechanical & Electrical) for a full-time, on-site role based in WP Kuala Lumpur. The Inspector of Work will inspect and monitor M&E works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

The role involves preparing and updating site inspection reports, recording non-conformities, and following up on corrective actions with contractors and consultants.

Qualifications

• Strong M&E knowledge including building services systems, codes and relevant regulations.
• Ability to read M&E drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Experience in site supervision, inspection of work, and quality assurance for development or construction projects.
• Proficiency in reporting, documentation, and use of digital tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with project teams, contractors and consultants.
• Ability to work on-site in WP Kuala Lumpur, manage time effectively, and respond promptly to site issues.
• Certificate in Chargeman A4 and register with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Certificate of registeration of inspector of work with BEM.
• Prior experience in high-rise or large-scale commercial/residential developments is beneficial.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor M&E works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
