Job summary

PY KONSEP PERUNDING SDN. BHD. is seeking an Inspector of Works to supervise civil infrastructure projects in Sabah.

You will conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and contract requirements, and witness testing and commissioning activities. Responsibilities include monitoring workmanship quality, maintaining records, reporting defects, and coordinating with contractors and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in construction supervision of water supply or civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with water treatment plants, pipelines, reservoirs, or related water infrastructure preferred.
• Familiar with Malaysian Standards, JKR specifications, and construction practices.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong observation, reporting and communication skills.
• Willing to work full-time outstation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Perform other site supervision duties assigned by the Resident Engineer or Chief Resident Engineer.

Preferred Qualifications

Registered Inspector of Works with BEM and possesed valid CIDB License

Experience on Design and Build (D&B) or government infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of quality assurance (QA/QC) procedures and site inspection practices.

Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements.
