Job summary

Aurecon Group in Malaysia (Petaling Jaya) is seeking a technical professional to prepare technical specifications, designs and calculations under senior guidance. The role may advance to supervise installation and assembly works, coordinating with contractors to ensure quality and safety standards.

The incumbent will manage time effectively and collaborate with the team to meet client expectations and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical certificate/diploma or degree required.
• Manufacturing C6 certification may be relevant depending on the role.

Responsibilities

• Prepares technical specifications, designs, graphs and calculations for engineers under the guidance of senior colleagues.
• When progressed in role, may help supervise the installation and assembly works of equipment, components and systems; coordinates with contractors and monitors compliance to ensure quality and safety standards and regulations.
• Allocates own time efficiently and proactively communicates status of work.
• Works well in team; helps colleagues deliver positive client experience; meets internal deadlines.
• Understands and applies the Aurecon Attributes, Principles and Ethos.

• Technical professionals undertake practical engineering assignments, including development of technical specifications, in line with their specific engineering field. They design a range of assets using industry recognised techniques and software that optimise projects and client needs. Applies proven techniques and procedures to the solution of practical engineering problems. Applies proven techniques and procedures to the solution of practical engineering problems. Helps design, develop or construct engineering discipline-specific assets, using industry recognised techniques and software that comply with quality and safety standards and regulations.
• Prepares technical specifications, designs, graphs and calculations for engineers under the guidance of senior colleagues.
• When progressed in role, may help supervise the installation and assembly works of equipment, components and systems; coordinates with contractors and monitors compliance to ensure quality and safety standards and regulations.
• Works under supervision to hone problem solving skills and develop due diligence techniques. Prioritises and systematically organises assigned tasks and understands how they relate to the larger client project.
