Job summary

Aurecon Malaysia Sdn Bhd invites you to join our Civil & Structural division and contribute to infrastructure projects across the region. You’ll perform conceptual, basic and detail design calculations and drawings, review technical documentation, and coordinate with clients and contractors.

We are looking for a Civil Engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, BEM registration, and 3–5 years of consulting experience; familiarity with Civil 3D and strong English communication are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; BEM registration mandatory.
• 3–5 years of working experience in an engineering consulting firm.
• Experience in infrastructural design for earthworks, roads & drainage, water and sewerage.

Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual, basic design and detail design calculations and drawings.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, method statements and other project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate design with clients, consultants, authorities and contractors.
• Provide technical knowledge during tendered and project procurement; liaise with sub-contractors.
• Ensure compliance with project design criteria/client brief/standards; read and understand drawings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/team lead.

What will you do?

In this position you will play an integral part of supporting theCivil & Structuraldivision and its success whilst establishing best ofCivilEngineeringpractices.

To perform or initiate conceptual, basic design and detail design calculation and drawings.Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, method statements and other project documentation.

To attendsitemeetings and carry out design coordination with clients, consultants, authorities and contractors.

Toprovide technical knowledge during tendered and project procurement. Liaison between sub-contractors and the sire mainly on civil works.

Ensure compliance with project Design Criteria/ Client Brief/ Approved Concept/ relevant design standards and office standards.Ability to read and understand project-related drawings is an added advantage.

Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior/team leader.

Possess aBachelor’sDegree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Registered with BEMis mandatory.

Minimum3-5years working experience in an engineering consulting firm.

Experienced in infrastructural design for earthworks, road & drainage, water and sewerage

Able to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision.

Familiar with popular design software, hands-on experience in analysing results from technical software; working knowledge in Civil 3D would be an added advantage.

Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
