Job summary

Maxis in Kuala Lumpur is offering an Insights AI Intern role to apply AI to social listening and market intelligence. You will support initiatives to understand consumer behaviour, identify market trends, and generate actionable insights for the team.

The 6-month internship starts September 2026 at Menara Maxis. You will gain hands-on experience with AI tools, social listening, and market analysis, developing practical skills for real-world business challenges.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong understanding of AI tools and applications.
• Comfortable using AI to support analysis and solve business problems.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and solution-oriented.
• Curious about consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and unmet needs.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

• Identify opportunities where AI can improve existing ways of working.
• Propose innovative solutions to business and insights‑related challenges.
• Apply critical thinking to improve insight generation and analysis.
• Create reports on social listening and market trend findings.

3. Market Trends & Insights

• Explore how AI can support the identification of current market trends.
• Analyse consumer and market information to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
• Support the team in generating meaningful consumer insights.

4. Innovation & Problem Solving

• Identify opportunities where AI can improve existing ways of working.
• Propose innovative solutions to business and insights‑related challenges.
• Apply critical thinking to improve insight generation and analysis.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Create reports on social listening and market trend findings.
• Summarise key insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Document processes, findings, and project outcomes.
