The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA), and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material selection.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyse and develop mechanical components, systems and assemblies using CAD software.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new projects.
• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure safety and performance.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications and documentation for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure project success.
• Oversee testing, quality assurance and validation of mechanical systems.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation phases.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation in designs.
• Maintain compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations.
• Stay updated with advancements in mechanical engineering practices.
