Job summary

Top Glove Corporation Berhad, the world’s largest glove manufacturer, seeks an Engineer or Chemist in Compounding & Production (Manufacturing) in Malaysia. You will assist the Production/Manufacturing/GM with data analysis, troubleshooting and supervising workers to improve capacity and reduce wastage, while ensuring processes comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or Analytical Chemistry or related manufacturing disciplines.
Strong command of English (spoken and written).
Results oriented with good follow-through and teamwork.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Assist production manager with continuous improvement in production capacity and reduction of wastage.
Assist Production/Manufacturing/GM in data analysis, troubleshooting and worker management.
Report major quality issues to the manager with recommended improvements.
Optimize resources to achieve high-quality production at optimum cost.
Coordinate with chemists, engineers and supervisors to ensure smooth production processes.
Monitor process parameters, equipment and staff performance; implement preventive actions.
Ensure products meet customer specifications and ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 requirements.
Provide training on compounding processes and related knowledge to supervisors and workers.
Study and recommend improvements in quality and work methods to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
