Job summary

Top Glove Corporation Berhad, the world’s largest glove manufacturer, seeks an Engineer or Chemist in Compounding & Production (Manufacturing) in Malaysia. You will assist the Production/Manufacturing/GM with data analysis, troubleshooting and supervising workers to improve capacity and reduce wastage, while ensuring processes comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

Responsibilities

• Assist production manager with continuous improvement in production capacity and reduction of wastage.

1) Engineer, Production & Compounding
Your Mission:

To assist production manager towards continuous improvement in production capacity and reduction rate in production wastage

To assist Production/Manufacturing/General Manager in data analysis, trouble shooting and workers management.

Report to Production/Manufacturing/General Manager on the major quality issue and discussion for better alternatives

Optimize manufacturing resources to achieve high quality production at optimum cost

To coordinate and troubleshoot production challenges with chemist, engineer and supervisors to ensure production process running smoothly

Monitor records of process parameter, equipment and factory staff performances and implement necessary preventive measures

Ensure products are in compliance with customers’ specifications

Plan production meetings, production activities, worker schedules, machine maintenance schedules and maintains budgets and product quality

Ensure ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 procedures are well implemented.

Study and perform R&D on the compounding process to look for better formula and make recommendation to management.

To spot check the chemical preparation by the production supervisor is according to standard and the lab test results are accurate.

To carry out internal calibration for all the equipment used in Lab, QA/Packing and Production departments

Study and recommend to management on the improvement of quality and work methods to reduce cost and improve efficiency of production.

Provide training to compounding supervisor, lineboys and workers on the compounding process and other relevant knowledge on glove production.

Manage and coordinate with supervisors and chemists to have sufficient workforce to ensure the smooth running of compounding, chlorination department and waste water treatment plant.

To control the chemical usage in compounding department and to make sure all chemicals used in the compounding process are within the standard.

To monitor the latex and chemical preparation by the compounding supervisor is according to standard.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements, including proper implementation of procedures and operational standards

What we are looking for:

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Analytical Chemistry or any related disciplines of Manufacturing from reputable universities.

Have good command of English language (spoken and written).

Results oriented, strong follow up, good negotiation skills and values teamwork.

Fresh graduate are highly encouraged to join.

Comfortable and capable of working independently in an industrial plant environment.

Open for relocation if from outside Meru, Klang or Selangor.
