Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad, a leading Asset Management & Infrastructure Solutions company, seeks a finance professional to monitor project profitability, manage accruals, and deliver timely financial reporting. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role collaborates with business controllers, analysts, and stakeholders to improve forecasting and data integrity.

The incumbent will contribute to budgets, forecasts, audits, and board-ready inputs, ensuring compliance and performance across the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in financial and project accounting.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Track project performance through profit & loss, balance sheet, and key financial metrics.
• Ensure accurate accruals of project revenue and costs, including reviewing purchase requisitions before approval.
• Investigate financial discrepancies and highlight potential risks to Business Controller and Business Analyst.
• Conduct financial analysis of project outcomes and assess impact on the overall business unit performance.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in line with Business Unit and Group Finance requirements.
• Assist in preparing project budgets and forecasts while ensuring data accuracy for reporting levels.
• Support audits and prepare financial inputs for board papers, regulatory submissions, or management presentations.
• Act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders to resolve financial reporting and project-related queries.
• Collaborate with finance teams to identify and implement enhancements in forecasting, reporting, and data capture processes.
