Job summary

JC Consult Sdn Bhd is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will design, coordinate, and deliver infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with standards, timelines, and budget.

The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and authorities, and proficiency in relevant engineering software and standards. Immediate or short-notice availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the design, planning, and implementation of infrastructure works, including earthworks, roadworks, drainage systems, sewerage, and water reticulation.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout project development and construction stages.
• Review and verify detailed engineering designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements (e.g., DBKL, JPS, IWK, Air Selangor).
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, clients, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and implement quality control measures to meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare and manage engineering reports, design calculations, submissions, and technical documentation.

This role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the design, planning, and implementation of infrastructure works, including earthworks, roadworks, drainage systems, sewerage, and water reticulation.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout project development and construction stages.
• Review and verify detailed engineering designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements (e.g., DBKL, JPS, IWK, Air Selangor).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure design and project delivery.
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MiTS, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure design standards and construction practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and authorities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tasks independently and contribute within a team environment.
