Job summary

Anantara, a luxury hospitality brand, seeks an IT Manager in Malaysia to lead Opera PMS implementation and ongoing upkeep. You will ensure the PMS stays current, support hotel operations, and assist audit teams with technical issues across devices and software.

You will coordinate fault reports and enhancement requests, work with Corporate IT on version updates, and play a key role in system design, integration, and project delivery within the hotel network.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a work-related school or university.
• Four years experience in hotel business preferred.
• Deep knowledge in hardware, software, data base, and networking.
• Experience in systems design, analysis and project implementation, central reservation system, back office modules and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Opera PMS, ensuring the PMS is up to date per Corporate IT instruction.
• Assist authorized users in relation to hotel operations and support team members with their PCs.
• Coordinate and timely handle of software fault reports or enhancement requests.
• Provide technical assistance to internal and external audit staff.
• Collaborate with IT teams for system integration and optimization.

Job Description

As IT Manager, the implementation and upkeep of the Property Management System (Opera) will be your main responsibility. You will need to ensure that the PMS is up to date with the most current version as instructed by Corporate IT, then assist authorized users in relation to hotel operations and support team members with their personal computers. You are responsible for the coordination and timely handling of any software fault reports or enhancement requests as well as to provide technical assistance to internal and external audit staff.
