Global Information Systems (GIS) is responsible for delivering and supporting the technology solutions that enable business operations across Lam Research. The organization provides enterprise technology services including infrastructure, end-user computing, networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, business applications, digital transformation, automation, and IT operations. GIS partners with business teams worldwide to drive operational excellence, improve productivity, and accelerate innovation through technology. GIS leadership includes dedicated teams focused on IT Operations, Business Applications, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, and Business Operations.
Joining the team, you will play a key role in helping deliver reliable and efficient technology services that support employees and business operations. You will gain hands‑on experience working with enterprise IT systems while contributing to initiatives that improve user experience, operational efficiency, and service quality.
Available to commit to a minimum 6-month internship period.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on‑site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On‑site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On‑site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
