Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Malaysia's Penang campus is seeking an Industrial Trainee - Accounts Payable to join our Corporate team. You will process daily supplier invoices, assist in timely payments, and support closing activities by encoding journal entries in our accounting system.

The role requires basic knowledge of accounting, strong Excel skills, and good analytical and communication abilities. A CGPA of 3.00 or above is expected as part of our trainee program.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
• CGPA must be at least 3.00 and above.

Responsibilities

• Process daily suppliers invoices, timely according to internal policy/procedures and external regulatory compliance.
• Respond timely and accurately to suppliers and internal business partners' payment queries.
• Support closing activities including preparing and encoding related journal entries into the accounting system.
