Job summary

Autowell (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Testing and Tuning Engineer to perform functional testing, develop validation protocols, and analyze data to improve machine performance.

You will collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot issues, calibrate components, and ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the testing lifecycle. The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, and familiarity with PLCs and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge or exposure to Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
• TEVT or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Testing, Tuning Engineer or similar role in the machine manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with PLC, CAD software for design analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing and performance evaluations of newly manufactured machines.
• Develop testing protocols and procedures to validate machine functionality and quality.
• Analyze test data and identify areas for improvement in machine performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the testing phase.
• Perform calibration and adjustments to machine components to meet specified tolerances and standards.
• Document test results, observations, and recommendations for further enhancements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input based on testing and tuning experiences.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards throughout the testing process.
