Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd is seeking an Industrial Engineering professional to prepare and maintain factory layouts using AutoCAD, and to design and optimize production floor layouts to enhance productivity, workflow, and space utilization.

You will create detailed 2D/3D drawings for production areas, coordinate factory expansion projects, conduct time/manpower studies, and support IE initiatives across multiple sites and suppliers. The role requires updating engineering documentation and reports.

Qualifications

• Prepare and maintain production, machine, workstation, and factory layouts using AutoCAD.
• Design and optimize production floor layouts to improve productivity, workflow, and space utilization.
• Create detailed 2D/3D drawings for production areas, machine footprints, workstations, and building layouts.
• Coordinate and support factory expansion projects, machine relocation, and equipment transfers between production lines, sites, vendors, and customers.
• Conduct time studies, manpower studies, and work method analysis to identify productivity improvement opportunities.
• Assist in implementing productivity improvement, standardization, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support Industrial Engineering projects by collecting data, monitoring progress, and preparing reports.
• Ensure layout plans and engineering documentation are updated and properly maintained.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
