Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd in Ipoh is seeking a diploma-holding engineer to assist in designing workstation improvements and plant layouts, and to coordinate machine relocation and installation.

You will support scrap management, design signage, update SIC database, and perform capacity planning data analysis, UPH studies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications is expected.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Independent, resourceful, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing workstation improvements and plant layout plans.
• Coordinate machine crating, relocation, and installation activities.
• Support scrap machine management and disposal activities.
• Design supporting equipment and signage for production lines and offices.
• Update and maintain the SIC database for equipment and office supplies.
• Collect and analyze data for capacity planning and UPH studies.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the role.
