Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician in Penang, Malaysia. The role supports line moves, layout changes, data updates, and tooling validation in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will contribute to lean initiatives and continuous improvement within the Industrial Engineering team. Ideal candidates will have basic IE tools knowledge, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office, Visio, Project, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Industrial Engineering tools such as work measurement and process mapping.
• Familiarity with facilities and workstation design principles.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support line moves, production layout changes, and process changes.
• Update the IEDB as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Create and update production visuals to support manufacturing operations.
• Order, receive, and validate tooling and equipment.
• Support the standardization of Jabil processes across the site.
• Maintain accurate process data and support lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow company procedures and security policies.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
