Job summary

Boeing Composites Malaysia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead lean manufacturing initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and support capacity planning and factory optimization efforts. This role will drive continuous improvement, support production system development, and manage industrial engineering activities across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, or lean leadership experience.
• Exposure to factory planning, equipment planning, and production readiness.
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Lean Manufacturing Engineers to deliver improvements in quality, productivity, cost, and safety.
• Drive lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects aligned with business objectives.
• Support factory and equipment capacity planning for current and future manufacturing needs.
• Collaborate with NPI and operations teams to ensure readiness for future business growth.
• Manage departmental planning, budget, and resource allocation.
• Champion a strong culture of safety, accountability, and employee development.
• Apply data-driven analysis to improve production flow, space utilization, and direct labor planning.
• Support EH&S responsibilities in line with company standards and leadership expectations.
