Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Penang is seeking a detail‑oriented manufacturing candidate to support line setup, time studies and process improvements in a dynamic production environment. You will help document processes, balance lines, assist with troubleshooting of tools and equipment, and participate in Kaizen and 6S activities to raise efficiency and safety on the factory floor.

This role welcomes entry‑level applicants and offers hands‑on training and growth opportunities within the factory.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred; entry-level candidates welcome.
• Knowledge of production processes, basic tools, and improving efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Line setup: assist with floor layout, line balancing and preparing work areas.
• Time studies: measure task durations and suggest improvements to save time.
• Troubleshooting: support setup and repair of assembly tools, machines, and test equipment.
• Process improvements: participate in Kaizen and 6S activities to improve safety and efficiency.
• Documentation: keep records, update process flows and create visual guides.
