Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our Penang team, focusing on boosting production efficiency, optimizing workflows, and leading continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

You will design tooling, coordinate facility layouts, and drive efficiency through data-driven actions, with relocation to Penang as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related field.
• Strong understanding of industrial engineering tools such as work measurement, process mapping, and workstation design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to implement continuous improvement and cost reduction programmes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and SAP / MES.
• Good communication skills with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
• Willing to be based in Penang (Bayan Lepas or Batu Kawan).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and continuously improve daily quality and efficiency performance for assigned production areas.

Industrial Engineer (Relocate to Penang)

We are looking for a hands-on and analytical Industrial Engineer to join our team at Jabil Circuit, Penang. In this role, you will be at the forefront of improving production efficiency, optimising workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

Monitor and continuously improve daily quality and efficiency performance for assigned production areas.

Design and procure production tooling, processing equipment, and workstations.

Coordinate facility layout and workstation relocation activities.

Prepare time estimates for projects and evaluate time factors.
