Linergy Power in Malaysia seeks an experienced Industrial Engineer to support factory expansion, capacity planning, workshop layout and automation improvement projects.

You will translate business and production requirements into practical plans for layout, capacity, manpower, equipment, material flow and warehouse logistics, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Hands-on experience in factory planning, layout, capacity planning or IE improvements
• Familiar with IE and Lean tools (time study, motion study, line balancing, 5S, Kaizen, VSM)
• Knowledge of manpower planning, equipment planning, material flow and warehouse/logistics layout
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cost-conscious mindset
• Able to coordinate with multiple departments and manage projects independently
• Proficient in Mandarin and English for communication with local teams and Group stakeholders
• Willing to work at Serendah, Selangor

• Develop capacity and resource plans aligned with business and Group strategy.
• Plan and optimise factory/workshop/production line layouts, including zoning, building arrangement, and internal logistics flow.
• Coordinate with Production, Facilities, Warehouse, Logistics, and other departments on manpower, equipment and material resources.
• Identify opportunities to improve manpower utilisation, line capacity, material flow and logistics routes.
• Drive cost-reduction and productivity initiatives using lean IE methodologies.
• Identify automation opportunities, prepare improvement proposals and coordinate implementation.
• Conduct on-site assessments, analyse issues and propose practical improvements.
• Prepare layout drawings, project plans, reports and presentations using AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Track project progress and ensure deliverables meet deadlines and standards.

Industrial Engineer - Factory / Park Planning

Linergy Power is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to support factory expansion, capacity planning, workshop layout and automation improvement projects.

This role will be responsible for translating business and production requirements into practical plans for factory layout, production capacity, manpower, equipment, material flow and warehouse logistics. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, optimise cost and support the company’s long-term manufacturing growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop capacity and resource plans in line with business and Group strategic requirements.
• Plan and optimise factory, workshop and production line layouts, including functional zoning, building arrangement, warehouse layout and internal logistics flow.
• Coordinate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Warehouse, Logistics and other departments to plan manpower, equipment and material resources.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve manpower utilisation, line capacity, material flow and logistics routes.
• Drive cost-reduction and productivity-improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing and Industrial Engineering methodologies.
• Identify automation opportunities, prepare improvement proposals and coordinate resources for implementation.
• Conduct on-site assessments, analyse operational issues and propose practical improvement solutions.
• Prepare layout drawings, project plans, reports and presentations using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools.
• Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time and to the required standard.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in factory planning, facility/workshop layout, capacity planning, production line setup or industrial engineering improvement.
• Hands-on experience in factory or production layout planning is essential.
• Familiar with IE and Lean Manufacturing tools, such as time study, motion study, line balancing, 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping and the Eight Wastes.
• Knowledge of manpower planning, equipment planning, material flow and warehouse/logistics layout.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cost-conscious mindset.
• Able to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and manage improvement projects independently.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English to communicate with local teams and Group stakeholders.
• Willing to work at Serendah, Selangor.
