Job summary

Lam Research in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Capacity Planner to optimize manufacturing operations. You will lead capacity modeling, line balancing, and production scheduling, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure KPI targets are met in a high-volume environment.

The role requires 8+ years in industrial/manufacturing engineering, with a relevant degree; proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; strong planning and interpersonal skills; and a track record of driving process

Qualifications

• 8+ years in industrial/manufacturing engineering or a relevant field.
• 6+ years with a Master’s or 3+ years with a PhD.
• Strong analytical and planning capabilities.

The impact you’ll make

Creates and develops design concepts and specifications that optimize the function, ergonomics, perceived value and appearance of physical hardware products and systems for product consumers and end users. Partners with internal and external marketing and design groups to research and analyze design trends and customer feedback for incorporation into product enhancements, new product design and overall design language and strategy. Produces and validates product design specifications and production requirements with insourced and outsourced manufacturing and engineering groups.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering/Mathmatics/Engineering; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and System skills will be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and planning skills.
• Strong drive for business improvements.
• Proven track record of ability to perform under minimal supervision.
