Job summary

Gateway Search Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing manufacturing facility in Shah Alam, Malaysia. You will support electrical engineering, maintenance, and project activities across large-scale industrial systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of MV/HV systems and Malaysian ST regulations preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, distribution, and industrial equipment.
• Experience with medium-voltage/high-voltage electrical systems is a plus.
• Familiar with Malaysian electrical regulations and ST requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Perform electrical engineering, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement activities.
• Support electrical projects, installation, commissioning, and upgrading works.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and engineering specifications.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability and energy efficiency.
