Job summary

JDE Peet's in Malaysia seeks an Electrical & Automation Technician to maintain and improve electrical, automation, and control systems across the plant. You will support preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLC/SCADA-controlled equipment, CCN infrastructure, and continuous improvement projects to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.

The role requires a Diploma/ SKM/ Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience in

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance, electrical, automation, or manufacturing environments.
Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, consumer goods, or industrial manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliability and safe operation of plant equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, automation, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
Support maintenance and optimization of electrical equipment, power distribution, instrumentation, PLC, HMI, SCADA, and control systems.
Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and improvement of machinery and automation systems.
Monitor equipment performance, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, spare parts inventories, and system reports.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
