Job summary

Pullman Kuching is seeking an Income Auditor to review daily hotel revenue transactions and ensure accurate posting in line with policies. The role involves auditing rooms, F&B and other departments’ revenue, reconciling against PMS/POS, and supporting month-end closings.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in hotel finance, strong numerical and Excel skills, and is able to work independently in a busy property. Local Sarawakian applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hotel finance or accounting.
• Experience in income auditing or hotel revenue accounting is preferred.
• Good knowledge of hotel PMS and POS systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently and meet daily deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Open to Malaysian candidates only; preferably local Sarawakian.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily audit of hotel revenue from rooms, F&B outlets and other operating departments.
• Verify daily revenue reports against the hotel's PMS and POS systems.
• Check and reconcile cash, credit card, bank and other payment transactions.
• Review daily cashier summaries and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Verify room charges, discounts, complimentary rooms, rebates and adjustments.
• Review F&B revenue, voids, discounts, cancellations and complimentary transactions.
• Investigate and follow up on any discrepancies or unusual transactions.
• Prepare the daily revenue report and other required financial reports.
• Ensure all revenue is accurately posted to the appropriate accounts and dates.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of daily audit records.
• Assist with month-end closing and revenue reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies, internal controls and Accor standards.
• Liaise with Front Office, F&B and other departments to resolve revenue-related discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audits when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Management.

Job Summary
