PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Income Audit Executive to join our financial operations team in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in internal audit, revenue audit, or financial audit functions.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality accounting practices and revenue management systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software or property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of income transactions across revenue departments.
• Verify revenue postings against documentation and reconcile variances.
• Review daily revenue reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor POS and payment processing for compliance with procedures.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Strengthen internal controls and prevent revenue leakage.

About the role

We are seeking an Income Audit Executive to join our financial operations team at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur, based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue streams and financial reporting. As an Income Audit Executive, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of income transactions, identifying discrepancies, and implementing controls to safeguard the organisation's financial assets. This position reports to the Finance Manager and is integral to maintaining robust internal financial governance within our hospitality operations.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular audits of income transactions across all revenue-generating departments, including rooms, food and beverage, and ancillary services
• Verifying the accuracy of revenue postings against supporting documentation and reconciling variances
• Reviewing daily revenue reports and investigating discrepancies or unusual transactions
• Monitoring point-of-sale systems and payment processing to ensure compliance with established procedures
• Preparing detailed audit reports documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen internal controls and prevent revenue leakages
• Collaborating with department heads to resolve audit findings and implement improvements
• Assisting in the reconciliation of guest accounts and settlement of outstanding balances
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and assisting in the external audit process
• Maintaining detailed audit working papers and documentation in accordance with audit standards

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in internal audit, revenue audit, or financial audit functions
• Strong knowledge of hospitality accounting practices and revenue management systems
• Proficiency in financial analysis and the ability to identify trends and anomalies in financial data
• Excellent understanding of internal control frameworks and audit procedures
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software or property management systems
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capability to work with complex financial transactions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to management
• Professional certification or pursuing a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIA, ACCA) is preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously
• Integrity, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
