Job summary

SCM Technologies Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru seeks a Quality Inspector to perform in-process inspections, visual checks and precise measurements to ensure product quality meets specifications.

You will record results, update the quality database, segregate good parts from rejects, and report defects to the Production Leader. Daily quality reports are prepared for the Supervisor/Engineer. Requires SPM or higher, 3–5 years' experience, and familiarity with Smart Scope or CMM is a plus.

Qualifications

• SPM and above.
• 3 to 5 years' working experience.
• Hands-on experience with Smart Scope and CMM is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process inspections, visual checks, and measurements to ensure product quality meets specifications.
• Record inspection results and update the quality database.
• Report defects, abnormalities, and rejected products immediately to the Production Leader/Supervisor.
• Segregate and sort good parts from rejected items.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and rework documentation.
• Prepare and submit daily quality reports to the Supervisor/Engineer.
