Job summary

Greatech Group is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector in Penang. The role focuses on in-process inspection to verify assembly against drawings and work instructions, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, SOPs, and safety requirements.

You will record NCRs and support QA data collection with the production team. The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering certificate or 0–6 years hands-on experience and can read basic engineering drawings, using calipers, multimeters and torque tools to

Qualifications

Minimum certificate in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing or 0-6 years hands-on experience.
Able to read basic engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

To perform in-process inspection independently to ensure compliance with specifications.
To verify assembly work against drawings and work instructions.
To record and report non-conformance (NCR).
To support troubleshooting of quality issues with production team.
To ensure inspection activities are completed within timeline.
To maintain proper inspection records and reports.
To support QA Engineer in quality data collection.
To ensure compliance with ISO, SOP, and safety requirements.
Other duties assigned by superior.
