Job summary

Volvo Car Manufacturing Malaysia is seeking an IBL&FLOW engineer to own inbound material flows across car/mid-year programs and volume changes. You will drive feasibility studies, engineering, implementation, and handovers while coordinating PSC transformation strategies with cross-functional teams.

The role covers design of warehouses and kitting lines, IT strategy for warehouse logistics, and ongoing cost reductions to achieve Best in Class logistics. English is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

Diploma/degree in relevant engineering or logistics field.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics operations.
Ability to design information flows and cross-functional processes.

Responsibilities

Design and implement inbound material flows and related systems.
Specify material handling equipment and warehouse processes.
Define standard times (GR/Put away/Replenish/Kitting/Sequencing) for operations.
Drive budget input with the budget owner for mobile handling equipment.
