Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Labuan, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Software Developer to build, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications in a manufacturing context. You will support integrations, automate processes, and deliver practical IT solutions.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE, with hands-on work in C#, .NET/ASP.NET, Java, Python, PHP, or JavaScript. Onsite work and right-to-work in Malaysia are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET/ASP.NET, Java, Python, PHP, or JavaScript.
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
• Exposure to ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in an IT team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement software applications.
• Maintain and support existing applications, databases, and programmes.
• Gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
• Collaborate with users and departments to identify system improvements.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support.
• Develop and maintain integrations between internal applications and ERP systems.
• Work with APIs and system interfaces to support data exchange.
• Support database maintenance and data requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and user guides.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, security requirements, and best practices.
• Participate in enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
